Social Media Lead

Help amplify the voices of young writers and creators across Canada. As our Social Media Lead, you'll work alongside our Social Media Designer and teams across the organization to shape our social strategy, create engaging content, and grow Ripple Foundation's online presence — all while making a meaningful impact for youth nationwide.

 

What you'll do:

  • Develop and manage our social media content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn
  • Plan and run campaigns supporting our programs, events, volunteer recruitment, and fundraising
  • Write engaging captions, coordinate hashtags, and schedule posts
  • Partner with the Social Media Designer to set creative direction and keep our brand consistent
  • Work with other teams to source stories, photos, videos, and other content
  • Monitor engagement, track performance, and recommend ways to grow our audience

What you'll bring:

  • Experience in social media, communications, or digital marketing (2+ years preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for storytelling
  • Experience managing social platforms for a brand, organization, club, or personal project
  • A creative, self-motivated, and organized approach, comfortable working independently and remotely
  • Familiarity with current social media trends and best practices
  • Experience with nonprofits or youth-focused initiatives is an asset
