Our online shop at shop.ripplefoundation.ca is governed by its own Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, which are available on the shop site. Purchases made through the shop are subject to those documents, not these Terms.
By accessing or using the Website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the bottom of this page. Your continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Who May Use the Website
Ripple Foundation’s programs are designed for children and youth, and we welcome young visitors. However, if you are under the age of majority in your province or territory, you may only use the Website — including submitting content, making purchases, or signing up for communications — with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian. Parents and guardians who permit a minor to use the Website agree to these Terms on the minor’s behalf and are responsible for the minor’s use of the Website.

All content on the Website — including text, graphics, logos, photos, videos, designs, software, and code — is the property of Ripple Foundation or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights reserved.
You may view, download, and print content from the Website for personal, non-commercial use only. Nothing in these Terms grants you any licence or right to use Ripple Foundation’s intellectual property for any other purpose without our prior written permission.
Submissions to Our Programs
Ripple Foundation runs programs that invite children and youth to submit creative work, including the Kids Write 4 Kids contest and the Wave Blog. Submissions to these programs are governed by the specific rules, guidelines, and consent forms for each program, which are available on the relevant program site. Kids Write 4 Kids Contest Rules and Wave Blog Editorial Guidelines.
All submissions from participants under the age of majority require the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By submitting work, you (and your parent or guardian, where applicable) confirm that the work is original and does not infringe the rights of any third party. Any publication rights granted to Ripple Foundation are set out in the applicable program rules and consent forms.
