Virtual Writing Workshop Schedule

The creative writing workshops provide a foundation for young authors to participate in the Kids Write 4 Kids annual writing contest. It is free to attend. Check below for dates and times.

The Write It Workshops are intended for youth in grades 4-8. A creative writing program focuses on improving the writing skills of children through which participants are encouraged to find their voice and gain confidence in their choices as a writer.

Brainstorm Bonanza

The purpose of this workshop is to teach participants how to brainstorm story ideas effectively.

Mixed Bag Mayhem

The purpose of this workshop is to teach participants about the importance of characters and character development in storylines.

Plotline Play-By-Play

The purpose of this workshop is to teach participants about the role of plot structure in stories.
