Looking for ways to give back to your community?

Here are some ideas and websites you can use to fundraise for Ripple Foundation or any charity that you would like to support. If you are interested in volunteering with us, get in touch.

Fundraising ideas for kids:
  • Organize a read-a-thon at your school. Get your teachers and friends to sign a pledge based on the number of pages or books you read. Encourage your friends to do the same to start some healthy competition.
  • Set up a lemonade stand, bake sale, or car wash. There is nothing like sweet treats or a fun day out in the sun to help raise money for charity. You can even get your friends, sports team, church group, or any other peers involved.
  • Create artwork or craft items and sell your creations at school events or nearby retailers that support local artists.
  • Do something you love: be the youngest person to run 1K-race, or visit all of Toronto’s subway station in one day, or throw a dance party. You can create an appeal based on any activity you enjoy.
Fundraising ideas for adults:
  • Host an evening event like a paint night, a movie screening, or a bowling night.
  • Organize a workout class: yoga, spinning, kickboxing, etc.
  • Birthday celebrations and special occasions – consider donations in lieu of gifts.
  • Sports tournament (basketball, volleyball, etc.), or even a sports pool.
  • Promotion/contest/giveaway
  • Start a personal challenge, raise money for every km you run, walk, swim, or bike.
  • Classic fundraisers like a car wash, garage sale, BBQ, bake sale, etc.
